Beyond Voice, Future of Telecom in India
1) Potential of scale of 3G customer in India is immense but we need service that can do mass interpretation and then there will be no issue of affordability, Issue is relevant content. e.g. people listens calluer tune for just 5-10 secs but currently its 5000 crore business - you need just 10 more such ideas.
Relevant content should be inline with customer profile of Illetrate, multi-lingual etc.
2) In Developed contries - 3G has challenge to replace the large intrepretation of wire internet, but in India - this is not the case, Here interpretation of wire internet is low only.
3) India has Hexagone of youth to empower 3G
4) There is 750M 2G Handset which is going under recycle period like Bajaj, Vespa, Moped etc gone when bikes cames in auto-mobile industry..
